In Line of Duty Death increased to $8,000 effective 1/1/2020.

Beneficiary receives $8,000 as soon as possible.

Usually payment is rendered within 5 days of death.

Breakdown of the numbers:

$20 Initiation Fee (one time fee).

$15 yearly fee, collected in January annually.

Upon retirement, if you are a member in good standing, there is no fee for the rest of your life.
